I had a pre melanoma growth removed from my arm about twice the size of a freckle. The incision was at least 2 inches for a less than a 1/4 inch spot. They bulked me up so I can't bend my arm.
Don't neglect seeing your dermatologist, make an appointment today.

You are lucky to have health insurance. I am unemployed and poor so going to the dermatologist is not an option.
Go to a clinic. When I didn't have money that is what I did.

So. I am trying trying to use my problem to help others and you are focused on my car? Of course I have enough money, how else do you think I can write a blog for years turkey. I have a very nice car that I bought used. Just saying is getting old.

was the site of the melanoma causing you any sensation ,if not, did you notice or did the Doc ? is there any family history ? since you put out this message to help us ( I dont think I am prying) it might be even more helpful to give a little more info if thats OK. I appreciate your advice to see the derm.
